To lower the environmental impact, we opt to address fabric waste that is a massive problem in the fashion industry.  Implementing simple sustainable principals and strategies in our manufacturing practises,  this is to ensure we will lower material throughout and waste.

Whenever we purchase a pieces of clothing, we are participating in a chain of events with far reaching consequences.  Clothing supply chains often involve many individuals at all levels of production, which can make it difficult for companies and brands to knows where the different parts and steps of their products originate and that improvements can be addressed.  

Manufacturing is a labour intensive process and it estimated to employ millions of people worldwide from textile production to garment production.

By up-cyling our scarp fabrics after cutting, we are giving new life to an otherwise fabric destiny to the landfills.  Scarps fabric are used as upholstery fillings to being made into a new textile with fabric manipulations.  Some are being used by handmade small business as trims giving a whole new meanings to scarp.

Working closely with the community around us, we have reduced our textile waste destin for landfills by more than 95%.  That percentage comes to a significant amount of 20 tons per annum.
